Conferences and Conventions!

We are incredibly excited to be attending our first Con since the launch of Zombie Fight or Flight! We’re starting the new year with a trip to OrcaCon in Everett. The 2017 focus at OrcaCon is Race and Accessibility join Tabletop Games, so we’re excited to have the chance to listen to speakers and engage with other attendees on the ways that game can be made both more inclusive and more accessible.

We have five demo table slots, so if you plan to be in Everett this weekend (Jan. 13-15), the easiest way to find us is to come to one of our Zombie Fight or Flight demos.

Rowan and Darsey will be wearing Zombie Fight or Flight t-shirts, so they’ll be easy to find. Emily and Sharon will just be carrying bags of Zombie card games everywhere they go.We hope to see you there!

In early March, we’re going to Emerald City Comicon in Seattle! Sharon, Mark, Emily, Amanda, Darsey and Taryn will team up to offer a panel on “Collaborative Tabletop Games for Conflict Prevention, Management, and Resolution.”  Our panel will be on Saturday, March 4th, but we’ll be available at the Con throughout the long weekend. Drop us a line at pignpotato@gmail.com if you’d like to find us there.

Later in the month, Emily and Amanda will be the NWDR Conference in Seattle.  They’ll be offering a lunch session on March 25th on “Alternative Tools for Dispute Resolution” Exploring Collaborative Games”.  Check it out if you have an interest in dispute resolution.  There are lots of great speakers and workshops planned, and the chance to play Zombie Fight or flight with a bunch of mediators is a nice bonus!

Let us know where else you’d like to see us!
